Photo Realism Drawing
For this project, I mainly used the pen tool, gradient tool, rectangular selection tool, and the type tool. I used the pen tool to draw majority of the parts of the photo. I also used the rectangular tool and used the distort and warp options to fit shapes exactly to my photo. The gradient tool, along with the doge and burn tools, were used to make the colors accurate. To create the highlights, I blurred white lines that I painted and warped them to fit the highlights in the photo. The type tool was used to create each letter and the many logos on the speak and spell. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the speak and spell logo and found the correct font for each typed area of the photo. I think I accomplished the goal of making this photo as realistic as possible because I used the correct colors and correct shapes to render my drawing. To use the exact colors, I would use the color selection tool and carefully create highlights and shadows. A challenge I faced during this project was the top handle. I tried many different ways to make it look as realistic as possible and finally found an excellent solution.
